Rapprochement with Kurds pours in the Arabs’ interests

Away from the historical side of the Kurd’s cause and the unfairness such huge demographic composition experienced in a way resulted in dividing the social structure of the Kurds in a rude way or even in the rudest way ever in the history. Without going too far into the interests’ game imposed by politics when the triumphant, the “allied powers”, dictated to the “Axis powers” a great dividing agreements with specific transactions and bargaining mandated the attachment of a society has its own culture and national peculiarities to other nations without caring about their will or their geographic, historical and culture backgrounds.

On the tip of these compromises is the Sykes-Picot Agreement that yielded out of the stage of writing the history and distributing the geography” again with the “sword of the victors” in the global struggle to share the legacy of the sick man “the sprawling Ottoman Turkey” and consequently acquire  new and vital spheres of influence around the world and diminish the influence of the sick empire to be the present Turkey.

Since the vital geography in the Middle East was part of that “dirty” game because of the curse of “geography” as well as “history”, those dancers on the corpses ashes of the victims “victorious” bear responsibility  of the suffering these people including Arabs, Kurds, Armenians, Chaldo-Assyria and others experienced in a tragic and immoral way.

The Kurds are at the forefront of those peoples who had suffered   extreme injustice  in a game where they have no interests by any way, shape or form.

Being the largest people in number who was deprived of its political representation and consequently deprived of living in its nation-state that respects its national specificity!!

We should not lose sight of the fact that the Kurds were a natural dam between the Arabs and the Ottomans and to some extent the Safavids, and that the Kurdish leadership of the region and the Arab peoples in the era of Nasser Saladin was distinguished by characteristics support stability and justice. There is also Muhammad Ali’s experience as a “Kurdish man”, according  to historical narrative, he established a strong and powerful state, tried to unify the Levant, the Nile and the Hejaz, he fought the Ottomans and threated them in their own home and perhaps toppled them and remove them from the clutches of power and Islamic leadership. Unless Western countries perceived his danger, they wouldn’t impose on him the “peace of Kutahya” and the subsequent rule of his family for Egypt until the rise of Tamouz  Revolution.

Actually, the civilizational message of Islam was the “cultural and religious” universal container for all nationalities at that time as the cultural and fateful common denominators between Arabs and Kurds cannot be disregarded, since the Sunni doctrine is another “sub” collector’s vessel for those participants.

After that, the events of the (Arab Spring) era at the end of the first decade of the third millennium erupted in line with the “centenary of shame agreements”, whose formation and features are still vague on terms of Kurds’ role or let’s say the role assigned to Kurds in combating “Daesh” “ISIS terrorism” through multiple intelligence roles.

This was amid the Iranian efforts with a “desire for Shiite leadership” and the export of Shiism in the areas of Shiite presence in the “Shiite Crescent” and employing it in the service of “Persian national security”, as well as the intelligence role of “Sunni Turkey” that is concealed and manages ISIS radicalism and its sisters in many regions with endeavors to lead the “radical Sunni” and employ it in the service of “Turkish national security” and finally export the “New Ottoman” leadership in the entire Islamic world!

Perhaps the Syrian arena is the clearest example in that proxy war just like Kurdish role in the fight against the (Neo-Ottoman Revival Project). In southern Kurdistan, the “Kurdistan Region of Iraq” and the Peshmerga Epic, PÊŞMERGE, by using the Kurdish striking arm to eliminate the Intelligence Project of ISIS in partnership with the international coalition.

Similarly, this happened in “Syrian Kurdistan” During the autonomous administration that was established by the Syrian Kurds on 21 January 2014 and its military arm with a defensive essence, the People’s Protection Unit (YPG) that convinced the allies of their right and preference to defend their areas and to protect  people defending Kobani, and later the formation of the Syrian Democratic Forces (QSD), the military arm of the Council of Syria Democracy that was formed for the same purpose and with the support of the international coalition to at least fight ISIS, the defamed groups in the western world.

The fight against (ISIS and Islamic radicalism) in general has made the Kurdish issue a central issue again with a clear change in the rules of the international game! Even some strategic Western thinkers predict that the current twenty-first century is the century of the Kurds par excellence in the Middle East!!

Indeed, the issue of the Kurdish people rose to the surface again along with it the role of the Kurdish fighting woman, which made the official and popular West to a large extent along with the Arab official system including Egypt and the Gulf  deepen to dive and come closer to understand the privacy of this people.

Those sides denied before with guarantee from international charters, norms and institutions the right of these people (Kurds) due to awareness and “hidden” understanding of the nature of the Turkish-Saudi struggle over the Sunni Islamic leadership, the Turkish-Iranian struggle over the Islamic leadership, the Iranian-Gulf-Saudi conflict and finally the Arab national security.

Added to all conflicts mentioned above the (Iranian-Turkish) penetration in the form of managing the conflict on proxy land and their extension with local tools to export Shiism or Ottomanism. In this regard, the Arab capitals including Damascus, Beirut, Baghdad, Sanaa and Manama, and wherever the Shiite belief is present, we find the Iranian revolutionary arm through the “Quds Force” that was led by “Qassem Soleimani”, the iron fist of spreading Shiism, who was assassinated by the Unites States in an Arab capital, deemed as the arena of historically Ottoman-Safavid conflict.

The Turkish involvement in the Arab conflicts in the Arab Spring era is not less than the Iranian role, but their role is in the Sunni Arab region while both of them are using history to subjugate geography!!

All of this calls for an Arab rapprochement and understanding across countries historically considered the safety valve for Arab national security. We mean here Saudi Arabia and Egypt after Iraq and Syria were expelled from those kinds of countries to look after the Kurdish issue.

In the past, there have been attempts to focus on the Kurdish issue since the era of “Arab nationalist leader Jamal Abdel Nasser” who met the spiritual leader of the Kurds in Iraq and the Kurdish depth, Mullah Mustafa Barzani. This was a graceful attempt but with a nationalistic view that was deficient.

Then, dealing with Kurds’ issue became a temporary necessity, keeping pace with the spirit of the times and extending a hand to the Kurdish people in the “geography of the Arab world”, Syria and Iraq at the very least. This can be also touched from the Saudi, Emirati and Egyptian rapprochement with the Syrian Democratic Council in the context of concerns and preservation.

The Arab national security must be a deterrent to regional external interference by withdrawing flimsy pretexts of an entity that contributes to restoring national balance in a region plagued by crises!!

It may be understood from the Gulf rapprochement in general with the Kurdistan region – Iraq and the opening of consulates or diplomatic representation offices with their official exchange helped in withdrawing the rug from under the feet of Turkey and Iran in order to reduce the crude interventions of both countries by exploiting the Kurdish card.  This represents an awakening towards the crises surrounding the Arab world and an understanding of the growing role of the Kurdish region in the Iraqi, regional and international scene, under a new and renewed leadership in managing society (smooth transition of power).

This prevailed in the political representation of several countries of power in the global scene and the presence of representatives of the region in major international events and forums such as the Davos Economic Forum in Switzerland and other major global forums to convince the “authoritarian Arab mind” that a new born will soon see the light in the Middle East.

Thus, it is good for them (Arabs) to win a friendly neighbor and replace him with enemy neighbors. The issue of minorities may be the key to solutions to many other crises that these Arab regimes and societies suffer!!

We should not forget the Arab pens that write in support of the Kurdish people, such as Mr. Salih Al-Qallab, the thinker Yusef Zaidan and others. In the text of the book / Arab Shogun ,Dr. Youssef Zaidan, an Egyptian thinker says: “The Arabs owe an apology to their Muslim Kurdish brothers for the injustice they have practiced against them historically, because whoever persecuted will be persecuted!!
