- Triad of Turkish geopolitical influence (Middle East, Caucasus, Balkans) - November 13, 2020
As is evident, current international situation is similar to what arose in Europe by 1939, only Turkey and its leader became the place of the third Reich and Nazism. Actuallythe main target of the Turkish administration is not the Jews and Europe, rather, the areas that Istanbul controlled one day, however, due to the completely new Turkish policies, as in Nazism, all non-Aryans or non-Turks will suffer.
It is a lot like what happened before World War II, many hoped to stay away from the crises. Britain and France did not really act upon the occupation of Poland, but only made some statements, and even the Soviet Union did not realize that there was a real danger until after Hitler attacked their lands.
Alarmingly, history repeats itself. After the presence of Turkish forces in the Middle East, the side of Turkish geopolitical influence triangle (Libya, Somalia, the Arabian Sea, Qatar, Iraq and Syria) is moving steadily to Central Asia and the Caucasus from the gate of Azerbaijan then the next target will be the northern Iranian borders and the Uyghur regions within China to form the second side while the last side is represented in the Balkans.
Adding Turkey to this geopolitical triad through the Crimean platform line and the endeavors exerted to restore it from the Russian Federation. Indeed, this triangle is concerned with all regions in which Russia is present, despite all that, we see from Russian politicians all the words of love and understanding with their Turkish colleagues, but there is no wonder here. In 1939, there was the German-Soviet agreement or the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact according to which negative statements about the Nazi regime were not allowed even in Soviet newspapers.
We have tackled through this platform Turkey’s plans in the Middle East and then the Caucasus and Central Asia region, “Greater Turan” and we discussed who is actually behind Turkey (Turkey is not a superpower that can fight on several fronts, undoubtedly, a superpower stands behind, Britain). Here comes the role of the last side in the triangle of Turkish-Balkan influence, which we will talk about in this article.
Erdogan seeks or leading all Muslims and to be a geopolitical leader in the Balkans, the Middle East and Central Asia
Turkey and the Greater Albania Project
Erdogan not only wants to be the leader of all Muslims, but also wants to be a geopolitical leader in the Balkans, the Middle East and Central Asia. When he was in Kosovo, the town of Prizren in 2013, he stated that Kosovo is Turkey, and Turkey is Kosovo while former Turkish foreign minister, AhmetDavutogluimplicitly stated in his book “Strategic Depth” that a strong Bosnia and Albania are the prioritytargets of Turkey in the Balkans.
On February 27, 2020, the defense ministers of Albania and Turkey signed a plan for military cooperation in an agreement detailsof which have not been disclosed while the only known part of the agreement “includes measures that the defense ministries of the two countries undertake to implement in 2020 in order to strengthen and intensify cooperation in the field of security and defense.”
According to some Albanian and Greek sources, the matter is related to plans that target the in-taking of 30,000 refugees and illegal immigrants in Albania who are now in Turkey, and these sources claimed that Albanian Prime Minister Rama and Turkish President RecepTayyipErdogan had agreed on this in advance. At the same time, the region in which they plan to send Settlers to it, Northern Epirus, is located on the borders of Albania and Greece, where 120 thousand Greeks live.
Greece liberated this area during the First Balkan War in 1912-1913, but the great powers decided to grant it to Albania, the same story repeated after World War II, the region remained with Albania.
Greek newspapers indicated that the Greek Orthodox in the region “was constantly harassed by Muslims.” Tensions increased in the 1990s, and there were fewer and fewer Greek schools in the area, Greek shops were also attacked, and sometimes property was confiscated under false pretenses, and they were not allowed to hold religious rituals. in addition, there were some violations on the basis of race, for example, Greeks couldn’t serve in the police and army or occupy high positions.
Albanian TV channel (Top Channel) had reported in early March, 2020, Tirana began building six centers for refugee reception on the border with Greece, which can accommodate 30,000 persons, in addition to first aid centers. At the meantime, it was noted that construction was necessary in case “Albania faces the influx of Syrian refugees from Greece.”
There is no official confirmation that Turkey and Albania entered into a secret agreement, however, Athens is very concerned about this possibility
Later on, other information were leaked that “work is underway to ensure that the refugees are resettled either in rural homes or in new private settlements in the region,” while the Albanian and Greek media which reported on this news drew attention to the fact that Tirana had no money to build the appropriate infrastructure as Albania cannot recover from the earthquake of November 26, 2019 that shortly.
Another indirect confirmation of the cooperation between Tirana and Ankara is what happened during the coronavirus pandemic. Albania has banned all international flights to the capital, except for flights to and from Istanbul.
There is no official confirmation that Turkey and Albania entered into a secret agreement, however, Athena is very concerned about this possibility. As stated in Himara.gr, the Greek version, “The actions of the Prime Minister of Albania are somewhat suspicious, and rumors do not appear out of nowhere, choosing Northern Epirus for resettlement of Muslim refugees means a deliberate provocation against Greece.“ Some Greek military men began to intimidate the population, saying that through cooperation with Turkey, “the Albanians thus want to dilute the Greek majority in the area.” Source
Of course, the number will officially be 30,000 migrants and refugees, some of them will be with their families, but in addition to that, Turkey will undoubtedly deploy its “agents” there to control the situation. Ankara will send some jihadists who fought alongside it in Syria.
How will Ankara use these refugees?
Actually, current reports by the Albanian and Greek media about Ankara and Tirana’s plans to receive 30,000 Syrian refugees raised another question about the south of the country, where migrants can be resettled. There are at least 100,000 cannabis farms and therefore the arrival of a large number of migrants may play the role of the Albanian mafia, the largest supplier of marijuana in Europe.
Last year, hemp production in the country witnessed a thaw by 1.2 thousand percent. Often, the drug enters the European Union via Greece. In the corruption level rankings, Albania consistently occupies advanced positions in (drug trade, human trafficking, extortion, international prostitution, and diverse smuggling).
This is an incomplete list of criminal activities that flourish on the territory of this country, adding 30 thousand refugees with Turkish support in this country will mean Ankara’s control of this important region in Europe, not only at the level of political Islam but also at the level of crime. The target of all this is making Europe at the mercy of Turkey with British support.
It is worth noting that the change in the status of the Hagia Sophia almost coincided with another historical event that Erdogan used to highlight Turkey’s relations with the Balkans, the memory of the Srebrenica massacre in which more than 8,000 Bosnian Muslims were killed.
The Turkish leader announced on July 11, 2020 what he called “historical and civilizational mission of Turkey in the Balkans,” most of which were part of the Ottoman Empire for a long time, in addition to that, several million Muslims still live in the countries of the region, and through them Ankara is actively seeking to assert its interests in the peninsula.
Among other statements, Erdogan said, “We will remember the killings and massacres of our Bosnian brothers and sisters, and we will not leave them alone in their pursuit of justice.” He also accused European countries of “Islamophobia”, which opposes Islamic civilization “which gave excellent examples of tolerance and peace.”
Moreover, some information emerged that the Bosnian Muslim FarukhMoster was appointed as the main imam of Hagia Sophia, which is further evidence of Erdogan’s keen interest and geopolitical ambitions in the countries of the Balkan Peninsula.
Therefore, we see a clear Turkish policy in the Balkans, and this confirms the fact that Turkey is working in a destructive way, in the sense of supporting the “Greater Albania” project.
Greater Albania is a concept and political movement aimed at uniting Albanians within the territories that they consider their motherland based on claims about the current or historical presence of the Albanian population in those regions. In addition to the present Republic of Albania, the term includes claims to territories in neighboring countries, and these areas include Kosovo and the Presevo Valley from Serbia, the territories located in southern Montenegro, northwest of Greece (the Greek territorial units in Thesprotia and Proza, which the Albanians refer to as Chamria, and others of the areas that were part of the state of “Yanina” during the era of the Ottoman Empire, and part of the western Republic of North Macedonia.
Thus, reviving this grave project targets first: Greece, which stands in the way of Turkish moves in the eastern Mediterranean, second: the Russian Federation, which has some influence in this region through Serbia, and third: the European Union.
The Russian Foreign Ministry said, “We have received with concern reports about the meeting that took place in Tirana between the government of Albania and the” government “of Kosovo. The documents signed during the event, as well as the statements of the participants in it, raised serious questions.”
Albania, the spoiled child of Europe in the face of Russia and Serbia, has become brutal and aspires to expand in all directions with direct support from Ankara.
Meanwhile, representatives of the Serbian Foreign Ministry said that the United States needed the Greater Albania project in order to control transportation and energy corridors in the Balkans.
The Albanians, who have realized and successfully played the role assigned to them by the West as a counterweight to the Serbs and the Russians, have turned into a terrible European child after cooperating with the Turks, and today they are out of control, blackmailing Europe and trying to play their own game, they speak frankly about implementing the idea of ”Greater Albania” which It was born by German and Italian fascists during World War II.
As for North Macedonia, which changed its old name “Macedonia” to the current one in order to join NATO and the European Union, the Albanian minority came to the fore in political life as a result of the “rush” of Washington and Brussels.
The 2016 parliamentary elections, (it is worth noting that British intelligence man Charles Jarrett was present as Britain’s ambassador to Macedonia and now he is the British ambassador to Kyrgyzstan in order to complete his mission to empower Turkey), played a major role in the actual defeat of the Slavic parties that defending the country’s unity while the idea of dividing the country on ethnic bases, the Macedonian and Albanian parts, was added to agenda.
The visual perspective here is about the separation of the part that will join the western neighbor in the conflict between the Slavs and Albanians in Macedonia, Washington and Brussels sided with the latter unconditionally.
Albania, Kosovo and part of North Macedonia are the driving force behind this idea and behind Turkey. According to the plans of the nationalists, the new country should include Albania itself, Kosovo, the southern regions of Serbia and Montenegro up to the third of the territory of Northern Macedonia, as well as separate enclaves in Northern Greece. It is difficult to imagine what would happen to the Balkan Peninsula and Europe as a whole in case of moving this project to an active phase.
In the light of the rapid developments in the policies of Albania and Kosovo, and the latter’s threats to unite all Albanians into one country, the European Union found itself in a big dilemma.
Basically,There are hints of this some time ago. Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama stated that he did not rule out the possibility of uniting the country and Kosovo, and they said that this “will have to become an alternative to the closed doors of the European Union”, where both countries are striving hard. After him, HashimThaci promised that “if the European Union closes the doors to Kosovo, all Albanians in the region will live in one country.”
Meanwhile, Kosovo canceled border controls with Albania and Pristina required Tirana to issue its passports to all Kosovars.
Faced with this blackmail coming from Turkey’s proxies in the Balkans, the European bureaucracy found itself in a hurry, otherwise the Albanians will go beyond statements, and then a new war in the Balkans would be inevitable. It seemed that the West collectively believes that enrolling these countries in the European Union, if it does not eliminate the problem of “Albanian insurrection”, it will push it far in the future. The membership of North Macedonia and Albania in the Union will allow the opening of the borders between the two countries and the free movement of Albanians.
However, the Europeans should know that the rapid acceptance of Albania and North Macedonia’s membership in the European Union will mean an increase in the Turkish pressure tools on this union, which has been weakened by Brexit and which will weaken further Turkish-British cooperation.
Rapid acceptance of Albania’s membership increases Turkish influence in the weakened European Union after Brexit and its increasing cooperation with Turkey
European leaders who believe that the Albanians will stop there at the acceptance to be enrolled in the European Union are very wrong. Their ultimate goal is not the European Union, but “Greater Albania”, and they will pursue this goal even as part of the European Union.
Turkey and its geopolitical triangle, is there any force standing in front of it?
Erdogan skillfully combines the strategy of building a new empire, with the tactics of blackmailing allies (including NATO), opponents, and other counterparties to obtain an agreement with the People’s Republic of China to weaken support for the Uyghurs (the Turkish people who live in the territory of modern China). Erdogan receives recently financial support offive billion dollars on regular basis.
Erdogan turned to a money collector from China to Europe in exchange for ignoring the Uighurs and repelling refugees
As Europe pays him money to contain refugee flows from the Middle East,Erdogan uses such a threat as the Islamist cells on its soil to blackmail continental Europe; France is already paying the price for its beheading protest.
Meanwhile, he always uses Moscow and enters into many agreements (Libya and Syria) and buys from them the S-400 and transfers gas to them and to the Balkans and Eastern Europe, in order to neutralize Russia for as long as possible so that he can attack it directly, exactly as the Nazis did with Joseph Stalin .
There is no doubt now about Turkish success in its foreign policy fronts (the Middle East, the Caucasus, Central Asia and the Balkans), but this success is not related to the elements of recognized power, but rather is related to the silence of the great powers that Ankara is targeting, the Russian Federation, the major Middle Eastern countries, France and Germany.
By continuing these silent reactions on Turkish policies, Egypt, the Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia will find themselves in a state of defense that will exhaust their powers, and France and Germany will find themselves at the mercy of Erdogan’s desires, and perhaps what happened in France late taught them, while Moscow will find itself losing all its areas of influence in the Caucasus and it will have to think again in the matter of deterring the annexation of the territory of Russia itself on the periphery of the Volga River to the Turkish Empire behind which London stands.
All that mentioned above is not some kind of conspiracy theory, but an attempt to convey what is actually happening on the ground. If France and Britain had united with the Soviet Union in 1939 against Hitler, he would not have crossed the borders of Berlin. The same situation is here, if the major Arab countries are not united with the Russian Federation and France against Turkey, we will have to count millions of victims on the three continents, as happened in World War II.
